Noel Lovisa Launches Opposition to Bitcoin Cash City Trademark Application
After failing to seize BitcoinCashCity.com through the UDRP process, Lovisa is now having a second go by opposing my trademark application.

Following the receipt of Noel Lovisa’s fraudulent UDRP complaint targeting my domain name BitcoinCashCity.com, I acted on legal advice and immediately filed a trademark application for “Bitcoin Cash City” to better protect my legitimate rights and interests, including ownership of the domain.
The UDRP complaint was rightfully dismissed, but now Lovisa has doubled down—choosing not to resolve the matter amicably, despite repeated offers from me to settle. Instead, he filed an Opposition to my trademark registration and has continued to escalate his campaign through legal intimidation and underhanded tactics. Behind closed doors, he has made baseless accusations, including false claims that I have defamed him and one of his employees. He has threatened legal action unless I surrender the trademark and associated digital assets to him, for free.
In his more than 800 page long trademark opposition, Lovisa makes a series of misleading and self-serving claims, including the assertion that he coined the term “Bitcoin Cash City” and that my work promoting the brand was done on his behalf. These claims are demonstrably false. Having reviewed his evidence in detail, I am confident in the strength of my position. The evidence clearly supports my long-standing use and ownership of the brand. I intend to take the opposition proceedings to a full hearing and will vigorously contest Lovisa’s claims.
Lovisa’s conduct amounts to an aggressive pattern of lawfare—using legal processes as a weapon in an attempt to bully me into giving up rights that I have long exercised in good faith. His actions are not only unjustified, they are designed to cause me financial harm and reputational damage. I will continue to defend my rights and expose these tactics for what they are.
