Following the global COVID-19 pandemic, we regret to announce that the Bitcoin Cash City Conference has been postponed.
The decision to postpone Bitcoin Cash City Conference, due to run on 13th-14th August 2020, was not taken lightly but it is in the best interests of the health and safety of our valued guests, speakers, partners, and staff.
In 2019, more than 89% of guests made travel to attend the conference, and we expected a similar percentage of traveling, which would put everyone at risk.
We feel your disappointment with the postponement, but the Bitcoin Cash City Conference will come back bigger and better when the situation is clear. You will enjoy the event even more.
For existing ticket holders: you don't need to submit any requests, we will return the exact Bitcoin Cash (BCH) amount to the address which it originated from. All the refunds will be processed by this Sunday.
*We are unable to reimburse any personally-booked costs for travel, but most airlines and hotels have adopted flexible cancellation policies due to the virus outbreak. You can contact your travel provider for that. We are happy to provide an official statement about the event rescheduling if that helps you secure the traveling credits.
We will release the travel fund once a new conference date is set. Thanks to our partner-CoinEx, anyone registers an account on CoinEx by 12:00 AM 3rd April 2020 （UTC+10） will still get 0 fees for 15 days, and these registrations will contribute to the prize pool.
For current ticket holders, your name will automatically be added to the Travel Fund lucky draw with the new conference date.
